These sections describe what it's like to be in a relationship with an individual who suffers from a personality disorder. There are several different types of relationships:
Unchosen Relationships
Unchosen Relationships are relationships with family members who suffer from personality disorders. They are called "Unchosen" since they are relationships which a person made no choice to participate in.
Mothers who hurt, abuse or neglect their own children.
Fathers who hurt, abuse or neglect their own children.
Children who hurt themselves and others.
Chosen Relationships
Chosen Relationships are marriages, partnerships or romantic relationships with someone who suffers from a personality disorder. They are called "Chosen" since they are relationships which a person chooses (or at one time chose) to participate in.
Staying Committed in a relationship with someone who suffers from a personality disorder.
Leaving a relationship with someone who suffers from a personality disorder.
Co-parenting a child with a person who suffers from a personality disorder.
